Our Mission

Wildflower Development Group is a full service residential development and custom home building firm. We are dedicated to creating attainable, high quality housing and master planned communities across Wisconsin and Michigan.

We believe in the enduring value of well built homes. By leveraging strategic TIF funding, regional site engineering, and in house construction management, we combat inflation with attainable, quality housing solutions that families can actually afford.

Our name Wildflower reflects the organic way we grow — rooted in the communities we serve, adapting to the landscape, and building something that belongs where it stands.

Our Story.

From hands on construction experience to Fortune 500 engineering, and back to the roots of building homes.

The Early Days

The journey began when Mitch was six years old, working alongside his father in the family construction and landscape business.

Those early days on jobsites, operating equipment and watching homes take shape, ignited a lifelong passion for building. While he initially pursued a career in corporate engineering, the entrepreneurial drive to develop and construct never faded.

The Engineering Advantage

After moving to the Fox Valley and spending 5 years in Fortune 500 engineering at Oshkosh Corporation, the call to build homes and develop land was simply too strong to ignore.

The Return to Building

Armed with high level engineering experience and an undeniable drive to create, Mitch launched Wildflower Development Group, combining structural precision with residential construction.

2019 Establishing Legacies

Today, our dedicated team has delivered over 50 homes and developed multiple master planned communities across two states, driven by a shared commitment to quality construction.
